Implementing Arabic in Qpp Studio calendar publishing solution

Qpp Studio is the reference for holiday calendars all over the world. Their automated calendar publishing solution is the most used by the biggest calendar publishers. I implemented Arabic in their publishing solution. QppStudio Solutions

Cross-Media - for INDEVCO Group

Cross-Media aims to organize and secure all media assets developed for INDEVCO group of companies. I consult for INDEVCO on the whole solution specifications, and implementation.

Software and PDF-Protection for publishers

Software Protection:

Dongle based and machine hardware based for all Layout Ltd products was designed and developed by me.

PDF Protection:

A PDF solution to protect PDF books. This solution was developed for a publisher who would like to publish his books electronically. A special code provided by the publisher to unlock the book to run on a particular device, for a limited or unlimited time.

ArabicXT for QuarkXPress

ArabicXT is the only xtension that allows QuarkXPress to run in Arabic, Farsi, Jawi, Kurdish and all other Right to Left languages.
I was one of the main developers of the product and the software manager for the product up until version 10.
Before Adobe InDesign was released, ArabicXT had 95% of the whole Arabic marketshare.

Al-Rassam Al Arabi (Windows) & Kalimat (MAC)

Al-Rassam Al Arabi and Kalimat, are Windows and MAC utilities that were created in the early 1990's to address the need of the Arabic designers who could not use the latin applications in the Arabic language. A utility for text entry with set of Arabic fonts, that can work with any latin application.

I was the main developer and product manager.

The products were put on every Arabic graphic designer desktop.
